The Body Shop Hemp Hand Oil Review

If you have been following my blog you would know how much I love products that target very dry skin like mine. Dry skin can be such a problem because keeping it moisturised requires a lot of products but finiding just one simple product that actually keeps your skin moisturised is impressive.

So I got myself this little paradise in  a jar  Hemp Hand Oil firm The Body Shop. Its an oil  that cares for extremely dry hands. It comes in a plastic bottle with a syringe like applicator, a little of it goes a long way to keep your skin hydrated for hours on end. Retailing at $20.95  for 15ml of the  product from  The Body Shop, it is a little bit pricey but its an investment your skin will thank you for.

My Favourite Blushes- Estee Lauder, The Body Shop, Illamasqua Review

I always love a pop of colour on my cheeks. These three are my absolute favourite go to everyday blushes. The are not bright, just enough look to make you blush (See what I did there?- haha).

The Body Shop - Ginger $27
Isn't she pretty! It gives such a smooth finish with a buildable colour and bit of shimmer and it will stay on your cheeks forever- not really forever but you get what I mean

Illamasqua Lover $38
This is so pigmented and rich in colour, it gives u very smooth satin matte finish. It can also double up as an eyeshadow too. This blusher goes with almost any look- love it!

Estee Lauder Rose Nuance $66
Sheer with a silky finish and its buildable to full intensity. Also, a little goes a long way with this blush.

Have you tried any of these? Did you like them?

The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes

I'm all for neutral eye shadows so much that I find myself just buying them just because you can never have enough neutral in your makeup kit! I sound crazy don't I?

 Yes to this awesome foursome!

It's the weirdest packaging I have come across yet. Its four eye shadow cubes in their own little plastic cubes and a lid placed in a large cube which has a lid too. It's such a task to get to the actual eye shadow, especially if you have long nails. I wish It was in a simple flip-open pallete, however it's still an amazing set eye shadows.

Why I love it:
The eye shadow is highly pigmented
Beautiful neutral colours with the right amount of shimmer

Why I hate it:
The packaging! A box in a box, in another box sigh*

Other than the packaging I absolutely love it, this is my everyday go to pallete, I can't go wrong. I can use the colours for soft smokey eye during the day and pair that with a bold lip for a  night time look.  The Shimmer Cubes are available at The Body Shop online and in store for $40AUD/ £16GDP

Have you tried the cubes?  What did you think of them? let me know in the comments below :)

Review: The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask

This has been one of those products I've been meaning to review for a little while but kept forgetting to (covers eyes) During my time working at The Body Shop,I was introduced to the Warming Mineral Mask. At the time I was working in the city and I wanted a deep cleansing face mask to add to my skin care regimen so I thought I would try it.
The Warming Mineral Mask comes in a plastic tube (as you can see in the pictures) and you get 100ml of the product. The main ingredient in  it is kaolin clay which  helps restore the skins natural balance and with the help of zeolite which causes the mask to warm up as it comes onto contact with the skin and draw out impurities. Unlike other clay masks that crack as they dry on the skin, this stays moist on the skin.
I applied a generous amount of the mask to my face for 5 minutes and washed it off using a warm flannel. My skin felt very fresh and soft, however I had a slight greyish look left on my skin as if I had put on some sunscreen.
If you are have skin that is prone to breakouts this might just be for you, its suitable for all skin types.

You can purchase the Warming Mineral Mask from The Body Shop UK for £10 & Australia for $28.95
